Recently, the China Technicians Association announced the winners of the 2025 Grand Prize for Employee Technological Innovation. The project titled “Research and Application on Enhancing Wear Resistance of Key Components for Mine Scraper Conveyors and Crushers”, submitted by Zhangjiakou Mining Machinery Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of China Coal), was awarded this top honor. Through optimizing the ratios of alloying elements such as chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), and molybdenum (Mo), refining forming, heat treatment, and machining processes, and designing specialized tooling fixtures, the project has significantly improved the material’s ductility, toughness, strength, and wear resistance. This advancement has enhanced material utilization efficiency and extended the service life of equipment.
