Recently, the Shanxi Provincial Federation of Trade Unions issued “the Notice on Key Supported Model Worker (Craftsman) Innovation Studios, Employee Innovation Studios, and Traditional Craft Master Innovation Studios in 2025”. The Xu Zhizhong Employee Innovation Studio of the Open-Pit Equipment Maintenance Company, Ping Shuo Group (a subsidiary of China National Coal Group), has been successfully included in the 2025 list of key studios supported by Shanxi Province.

Over the past three years, the studio has won three provincial/ministerial-level technology innovation awards and three municipal-level awards, completed 23 company-level innovation projects, filed one technical invention disclosure, compiled one training textbook, and generated over RMB 15 million in economic benefits through the application of its innovation outcomes.
