In accordance with the requirements of national energy development and sustainable energy industrial policies, China Coal Group focuses on the energy production, gives full play to the advantages of joint-operation demonstration, and builds a large sustainable energy base and a "green electricity + coal-free" demonstration project around the desert, gobi and desert areas. Centering on traditional mining areas, we will use coal mining subsidence areas, reclamation areas and our own roof resources to develop and build clean energy bases and distributed photovoltaic projects, and promote a new model of sustainable energy + ecological governance. We will promote technological reserves and industrial practices of hydrogen energy and energy storage, study and explore the off-grid hydrogen production industry, innovate the development model of multi-energy complementary technologies, form a dense industrial chain and value chain, and create new business forms of green, low-carbon and circular energy development.

By the end of 2022, China Coal Group has an installed capacity of sustainable energy development of 2 million kilowatts, a reserve scale of 3 million kilowatts and a planned scale of 30 million kilowatts.
