Recently, the project of "Structural Characteristics of Xinji Mining Area and Its Control Law of Groundwater and Methane" By Xinji Company has been identified as the international advanced level. This project systematically studied the structural characteristics and the evolution history of Xinji mining area, analyzed the superimposed transformation characteristics of different tectonic periods, established the typical structural model, and revealed the structural formation mechanism of Xinji mining area. Based on GIS platform, the complexity of structure and the risk of water inrush and the gas disaster of each mine are evaluated and predicted, and mining blocks are divided. The research results have been successfully applied in Xinji mining area and achieved good results. (Xinji Company)
