The green hydrogen index of the liquid sunshine demonstration project of Ordors Energy and Chemical Company was approved by the Energy Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on January 4.  The project includes three units: solar power generation, water electrolysis for hydrogen production and carbon dioxide hydrogenation to methanol. More than 95% of the electricity consumption is new energy power generation. The carbon dioxide used is collected through the waste gas of coal chemical industry, which essentially guarantees the “greenness” of the project. The successful demonstration of the project will provide a new path for the coupled development of new energy and coal to chemicals industry. (Northwest Company)
