On May 12, 2021, the "China National Coal Group Corporation 2020 Social Responsibility Report" was issued, revealing the responsibility of China Coal Group in the anti-pandemic efforts, orderly reviving work and production and guaranteeing energy supply in 2020.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, China Coal Group has been  taking it as its bounden responsibility to ensure energy supply. During the initial outbreak at the beginning of 2020, China Coal Group promptly allocated more than 3 million tons of coal to Hubei province and Wuhan area, ensuring and supporting the progress of anti-pandemic in the affected areas. During the pandemic, China Coal Group actively responded to the urgent demands of multiple parties, overcame various difficulties to ensure the energy supply, greatly alleviating the urgent demand of coal for not only power and steel enterprises from which China Coal Group received numerous thanks.

Centering on the macro environment, China Coal Group took as much responsibilities as capable, spared no cost and lost no time in coordinating the production transformation of its coal chemical enterprises. In almost half a month, China Coal Group produced 15,000 tons of raw materials for medical protective clothing and masks, making a positive contribution to ensuring the supply of medical prevention and control materials.
